About the Owners
Steve White founded White Auto Body in 1986. The original site
in Florissant was 3,600 square foot in size. Four years later, the
company moved to a larger location in Florissant, measuring 12,000
square. In 1998, Steve and Valerie White expanded their business
and opened a second collision repair facility in O’Fallon,
Missouri. Currently, both stores operate out of facilities exceeding
21,000 square feet.
Of the 44 full-time employees, 31 are either collision repair or
paint refinish technicians. Ongoing education and training is an
essential part of the culture at White Auto Body. The technical
staff is required to earn 20 hours of annual continuing education.
A majority of the instruction is attained through two widely recognized
training organizations: ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) and
I-CAR (Inter-Industry Conference On Auto Collision Repair). The
management staff also participates in ongoing training through I-CAR
and AASP-MO (Alliance of Automotive Service Providers - Missouri).
Steve and Valerie attribute the success of their company to three
things:
- The highly skilled technicians performing the repairs,
- Customer loyalty, and
- The service-oriented attitude of the management staff.
Without our customers, White Auto Body would not be in business!

Individuals in the insurance and collision repair industries founded
the MVTAP in 2002. The purpose of starting this organization was
to increase awareness of the collision repair industry amongst young
people and to assist the instructors of the local technical schools
with auto body programs. Members of the MVTAP work with the instructors
at Lewis and Clark Career Center in St. Charles, Missouri and North
and South Tech High Schools, and Ranken Technical College in St.
Louis, Missouri.
