A local component of a national program, Safe Place is Youth In Need's newest program. Safe Place educates young people about the dangers of running away, and provides them with a network of "safe places," or youth friendly businesses across the St. Louis metropolitan area during times of crisis. Some of the area's Safe Places include QuikTrip convenience stores, YMCAs, community fire stations, churches, banks, and now White Auto Body.
Everyone can make a difference in protecting the environment. At White Auto Body, our St. Louis area body shops recycle, reuse and dispose of waste in the most environmentally sound ways. All of our auto body shops' employees are actively involved in White's Green Efforts and continually find new ways to dramatically minimize the waste we produce, including:

Each year White Auto Body comes across cars deemed a total loss by either the owner or the insurance company. Oftentimes these vehicles are older and simply need minor to moderate mechanical and/or collision repairs to get them road ready and safe to drive. Since 1999, they have presented 24 "new cars" to deserving individuals or organizations in both the St. Louis and St. Charles Counties at Christmastime.
Employees of White Auto Body also get involved by donating their time and talents to perform all needed repairs. They also donate gifts to the families. In addition to the "new car", White Auto Body pays for the first six months of liability insurance and all inspection and licensing fees. When the recipient receives their car, they have no initial out-of-pocket expenses, and a car loaded with Christmas gifts and food!
If you have any questions please see the documents below or email us at whitechristmas@whiteautobody.com.
Below you will find a list of the participating nonprofit organizations. To donate, click on the local nonprofit organization of your choice and print a Community Giveback Certificate. Bring the certificate to White Auto Body when you drop your vehicle off for collision repair. When the repair is complete, we will send a check for 3% of your final repair total directly to the nonprofit organization you choose. Along with the donation check, we will send a letter letting the organization know the donation was made in your name.
Organizations must be signed up before donations can be made. For more information, or if you are a member of a local nonprofit organization and would like to add your organization to the Community Giveback Program, please contact:
