Collision Repair

When customers schedule their cars for repair, they are given an estimated date of completion. During the repair time, one of our Customer Service Representatives will call with an update 48 hours. If an insurance company is involved, our staff will serve as the customers liaison.

Several factors including extent of damage and parts availability can affect the time it takes to complete repairs. We understand how valuable our customer's time is and strive to keep the repair time to a minimum. Oftentimes, our Parts Managers will pre-order the needed parts so when the customer drops off their car our technicians can get started. This process helps to ensure a timely and accurate repair.

Parts
Three types of parts may be used during the repair process:

  1. Original Equipment Manufacturer(O.E.M.)

  2. Like Kind and Quality (L.K.Q.)

  3. Aftermarket

The type of parts used is determined by the customer and their insurance company. Many insurance contracts or policies specify how collision repairs are handled. The staff at White Auto Body will work with the insurance representative on the customer’s behalf to restore the car to the customer’s satisfaction.
Our technicians evaluate all car parts to ensure a quality repair.

Tools & Equipment:

Our technicians utilize the latest technologies to aid in the structural and body portions of the collision repair process.

Computerized Measuring System:

Our technicians can access a database containing measurement references for virtually every vehicle on the road today.
This system is photo-based and allows the technician to target the precise measuring points before, during, and after the pulling process. Following this step of the repair process, the measuring system can produce a printout to show that the vehicle is accurately repaired.

Frame Equipment:

Having the right equipment ensures a successful repair. Frame systems give the technician a safe and stable means of accessing the damaged portion of the vehicle during the repair process.

Welding Systems:

Vehicles on today’s road require specific equipment when performing repairs. Because certain metals require the use of various welding technologies, White Auto Body has invested in the equipment needed to perform these repairs. Our technicians perform quality welds using new high strength steels and welding processes.
